Treasure Hunts in the City

Imagine a glorious summer evening spent with trusted friends and colleagues, keenly observing your surroundings as you make your way through the historic heart of the City of London, checking out its ancient alleyways, thoroughfares, courtyards and pubs. You are on a Friends of Cancer Research UK City of London Treasure Hunt!

Well we can't guarantee the weather, but we'll do our best to entertain you. You can expect plenty of cunning, cryptic and humorous clues, the opportunity to sink a few decent pints, (we choose our pubs carefully) and a few surprises along the way. When (and if) you reach the end, you'll find a very warm reception from the marking team, a few more pints, and some food.

Interested? You may wish to get a team together for a public Treasure Hunt, or perhaps your company would be interested in hiring our team for a corporate event (in which case please contact either Alex or Paul, details are below). Either way, you'll be making a valuable contribution to Cancer Research UK and you'll have an enjoyable evening to boot.

The 2010 Treasure Hunt took place on a beautiful London summer evening of  Thursday July 8th. An interesting course up around the North East of the City.

The same bunch as last year won, but when you see the photo you’ll realise why I’ve left last year’s in place!

Treasure Hunt - July 2009

The 2009 Treasure Hunt was won by "Can We Use Mobility Scooters", [although they didn’t!] who have won this competition once or twice before in different guises...!

Breaking the tradition of the last few years, here are a couple of pictures from the event. Roll on next year!

Rob usually manages to avoid the photos, but this time...

Oh dear; the camera on my phone should take better pictures than this so it must be down to the divot behind the viewfinder! Sorry guys...
