Capital Quiz Challenge 2005
22nd September 2005. Slightly earlier than last year, the Capital Quiz Challenge
2005 made a return to the Grange City Hotel, 8-
The cream of the City's Quiz Kids gathered from near and narrow to be inquisited (?) by friend of the "Friends" Chris Barrie; extremely funny, but he did enjoy picking on a few people!
OK, so I'm starting with and "after" shot -
A picture of the general crowd; just to mention a few team names at random The Really Brainy Squad, Naughty But Niche, Sub 6%er's, Kate Moss Knows (want to guess what their mascot was?).
Remarkably "Trying not to Finish Last" (Not pictured) managed not to!

An auction in the middle of the end of the quiz raised £800+ for the cause. Another £500+ came in from the sale of raffle tickets.The entry fees and other donations mean that we raised over £6,000 for Cancer Research, so many thanks to you all for your generosity.
Come and see us again next year and we'll do it all again!
Star auction item was the signed Liverpool away shirt from last (?) season. Pity poor Carolyn who had to hump it from one side of the room to the other for quite some considerable time! ==>
