Quizzes, treasure hunts, golf and climbing down the outside of a big building (or running up the inside!)! What have all these got in common we hear you cry! Well, they are just some of the popular events the City of London Friends of Cancer Research can organise successfully for you!

 

Opting for the Entertainment route over the rattling tins operation has ensured a winning formula - All participants have a great time – as do the volunteers too! And, we must be doing something right, as we have just hit the amazing £750,000 mark! So, what are you waiting for? With your help we can reach even greater heights for this worthwhile charity whilst having lots of fun!

 

With a couple of name changes along the way we’ve been fundraising for over 20 years now; we’re always open to new ideas though

 

So, how can you hop on board?

 

Easily! Browse through our webpage and see if there are any events you would like to participate in, maybe as a group or even a corporate event with your company? You will find contact details on every page where you can request further information about all events, Or maybe you would like to volunteer and help out with the entertainment? Volunteering is a fun and great way to help the charity, whether you enjoy marking quiz papers – aided by a glass of wine (or two), helping with treasure hunts – aided by a pint (or two) or popping along to lend a hand at any event – yep, most probably aided by a G&T (or two)! Then please do not hesitate to contact any of the committee.

The bottom line is that whilst your money goes to finding cures for cancer, you and your friends, colleagues or customers are all entertained! Now, what could be better than that?!
