Reach for the sky for CRUK!

With one of the City of London Friends of CRUK abseils!

Have you ever wanted to do something abseil-utely mad whilst raising over £200 for CRUK? Then why not take part in one of our

fund-raising abseils?!

TWO DOWN ONE TO GO (Tee Hee)

Canary Wharf Abseil – May 9th & 10th 2009 **Finished**
This is the third and final year the City of London Friends of CRUK will be organising this 230 foot abseil down 20, Cabot Square, E14. This event always has a great atmosphere over the 2 days, last year seeing 160 abseilers make the descent, raising circa £70,000 between them.
To book, or to find out further information, email
abseil@crukcity.org.uk

(Hopefully someone will have some pictures for me...?)

West Ham Abseil – June 7th 2009 **Finished**
A brand new and exciting venue for the City of London Friends of CRUK!

Participants will abseil 140 feet down the Bobby Moore stand at West Ham football stadium in aid of the Bobby Moore Fund and its fight against bowel cancer. With just one day for this event, we only have 90 abseil places, so make sure you book your place before it’s too late!
To book, or to find out further information, email
abseil@crukcity.org.uk

(Hopefully someone will have some pictures for me...?)

Guys Hospital Tower – September 12th & 13th 2009
Standing at circa 450 feet, this is the tallest of our abseil buildings. Situated near London Bridge, the view from the top of Guys hospital tower is a breath-taking treat of famous London landmarks. Due to the height of this building we can only take 70 participants over the 2 days, so hurry

up and book your place and reach for the sky for CRUK!

guys@crukcity.org.uk

All abseils are open to anyone over the age of 18, no previous abseiling experience is required as training will be provided on the day by fully qualified instructors. The only thing needed is a thrill-seeking attitude and the will to raise over £200* for Cancer Research UK

*For all events, participants will need to secure their place with a £25 registration fee

to cover administration costs.
